Music In The Metro

Programs

Programs from Music In The Metro teach students musically, intellectually, and creatively and provide professional growth through training and access to recording studio equipment.

Through hands-on practice, working relationships with industry professionals, and workshops with award-winning musicians, Music In The Metro students learn the basics of recording in a live studio setting. In the process, they are exposed to a broad spectrum of music industry-related careers.

Music In The Metro is not just about music. The technical training and exposure is only part of the picture. Through the core curriculum, students not only learn about music, but are also taught to work productively in teams. These life skills help students overcome stereotypes, enhance conflict resolution skills, and will shape them into better citizens.
